US Marshals Nab Amazon Driver For DelCo Road Rage Shooting

Members of the US Marshals Service arrested an Amazon delivery driver on Monday, March 14, wanted in a February road rage shooting in Delaware County, authorities announced.

Anthony Jones, 38, was arrested at a relative's house in Philadelphia, Clifton Heights police said.

Jones has been accused of shooting a 58-year-old motorist after a "minor accident" on North Oak Avenue in Clifton Heights around on Sunday, Feb. 27 around 12:25 p.m., Daily Voice previously reported.

After being shot in the stomach, the victim was taken to the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, where he was admitted in critical condition, police previously said. His condition was not known as of Monday, March 14.

Jones was arraigned on charges of attempted murder, aggravated assault, firearms not to be carried without a license, and other related offenses, according to court records.

He was remanded to Delaware County Prison after failing to post 10 percent of $1 million bail, records show. His preliminary hearing is set for March 29.
